Samsung was reputed brand when it used to make good phones but nowdays Samsung is not making good phones it does not give good specifications on its phones nowdays Samsung is known because its every phone has a problem of hang and one of its worst phone is J5.
Display:
Samsung Galaxy J5 is having a super amoled screen which is not good when we use our phone in sun because the brightness level is too low with a resolution of 720*1280 pixel which is not good because there are many phones which provide a full HD 1080p display but J5 provides only a 720p display the colours on the display are not good J5 has been cursed in terms of screen.
Performance:
J5 is having a 1.2 GHz qualcomm snapdragon 410 chipset which cannot handle heavy games some heavy games like Nova 3, GTA sanandreas, mortal combat x etc stops at the loading screen and some games which it can handle runs very laggy due to its 1.5 GB of ram and Adreno 306 GPU even it cannot handle multitasking easily you should not buy this phone in terms of performance.
Camera:
J5 is having a 13 MP camera on rear which performs as 5 MP Camera and a 5 MP front camera which makes your face very dull in your selfie it can do video recording in 1980*1080 p with a frame rate of 30 FPS J5 is cursed in the field of camera.
Battery:
J5 is powered by a 2600 MAH battery which helps J5 to survive just for 18 Hours and gives you a 18 Hrs of talktime on 3g.
UI:
J5 is running on android 5.1 Lollipop which is covered by Touchwiz UI which is very ugly not having much customization options it is very laggy and does not provides laggy experience.
Reccomodation:
I would not reccomend this anyone beacuse this phone is not good in any field and provides very laggy experience.
