Specs review
All new Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime houses an excellent configuration of 1.6 GHz octa-core processor coupled with 3 GB RAM. In spite of this decent hardware configuration, the phone failed to perform well at speed with lagging and a poor response at games.
Samsung ships the Galaxy J7 Prime with an Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with its very own interface. The fingerprint sensor integrated into the home button found a bit irresponsive at a single tap. A phone with that price tag is not acceptable to fail in that elements which mainly lack to reach user expectations.
The smartphone bears a 3300 mAh battery and found quick charge option is missing but is managing a fast charge with the charger provided in the box. With a screen on time of 5 hours 30 minutes, J7 prime found a bit low when compared to its previous release J7. However, the phone offers a great standby through.
The brand new J7 prime has got some good range of sensors along with fingerprint sensor which includes proximity sensor and accelerometer. Ambient light sensor, lado scope, magnetic sensor are found missing which leads to the absence of auto brightness and VR support. The handset offers good connectivity options which promise you to keep connected in every possible way.
CAMERA
Coming to the camera department, the phone serves the best quality pictures with a rear camera of 13 MegaPixel with Flash and a 8 MP camera is placed on the front side for shooting selfies. The phone enables a high-quality video recording with smooth rendering with a resolution of 1080p with 30 frames per second.
Samsung Galaxy J7 prime performs much better at image duties when compared to earlier Galaxy J7 2016. On audio section, Galaxy J7 prime produces a reasonably good sound. Sadly, a low quality of output observed in the speaker. However, the device didn’t disappoint the audio lovers when earphones are plugged in.
