SAMSUNG GALAXY J7 PRIME @genuine reviews

Samsung galaxy j7 prime is a successor of the samsung galaxy j7 2016. Samsung has incorporated quite a lot experimental features in the smartphone that has not been seen in any of samsung devices. The full metal back finish with corning gorilla glass 4 front does look pretty premium. The speaker grill has shifted just above the power button, which I feel samsung has done a good job thereby preventing sound muffling. The sound quality of the phone is very clear and audible. Even cellular calls reception is no doubt very good. The home button has become a "JUST TOUCH" fingerprint sensor which means you need not to press the home button while unlocking the phone. Simple touch on the home button will unlock the phone provided fingerprint is registered. The fingerprint sensor just works fine and is quite responsive most of the times. The notification led is also a handy feature samsung has included in the smartphone.

This is a dual sim device with a dedicated micro sd card slot expandable upto 256gb while the internal storage is 16gb or 32 gb. The 16gb model is priced at Rs. 15490 and the 32gb model is priced at Rs. 16900 approximately. The device is a completely user friendly device as it runs on android marshmallow with samsung’s good old touchwiz ui. It is an octacore device with Exynos 7870 processor which can handle a variety of tasks smoothly. Although dealing with third party apps especially heavy graphic games make the phone laggy. There are several frame drops while playing Ashphalt 8. I wound not recommend this phone for gamers as the Mali T830MP2 GPU does not enhance gaming experience on the phone. Being a budget smartphone the phone has a 3gb RAM but still the RAM management is poor in the device. Several ongoing apps needs to refresh while jumping from one app to another. The front camera is a 13 MP shooter while the front camera is a 8 MP shooter. The rear camera does not take high quality images bt still considering the price point the images are crispy. Video quality is poor. It houses a 3300 mAh inbuilt battery which can easily last upto a full day usage. Talking about the display, it is a TFT display which is not as good as super AMOLED but still the differences could be seen when compared to the AMOLED display. It does support OTG compatibility which is a good feature nowadays. The smartphone looks and feels great to hold with the 5.5 inch screen and fits easily to every hand. The top notch feature of this smartphone is the S-Secure option, which allows user to lock apps and folders therefore upgrading the privacy a little more.

The smartphone is truely a value for money device and can be used as a daily driver whatsoever.
