One of the premiuim smartphone companies in the world, Samsung, has taken the future of smartphone to a whole lot new level. It has proven itself with another new launch of its new Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro.
Now, Ive been a serious user of this premium looking phone for about a fortnight now and here it is what I feel about this device. Now Ill be dividing this review into pros amd cons of the device. Please read it till the end to get the full in-depth review of the device.
PROS: -
The 1st thing which I like the most about this device is that is its build quality and design. it is one of the best in its class. It really feels like a premium quality smartphone when you hold it in your hands. It is very similar to Samsung Galaxy S6( my friends using S6 for 4 months) in terms of the build qualitty.
The 2nd thing I like about this device is that Samsung has not compromised with any of the sensors in it as it does with other mid range devices.
The auto brightness sensors works just perfectly most of the time.
Besides, it also has compass and gyroscope in it. So navigation is not an issue in this device.
It has a single speaker on the right side of the device just above the power button. The sound is not very loud in this device but is a decent one.
Gaming experience was pretty good in the device. It could run most of the games just fine with no lags. But if u try to play heavy games with heavy graphics in it, you may find some lags in the gameplay.
So if you are a very heavy gamer, this wont be a very good device for you.
- The device has no heating issues at all. Even with a heavy gaming, the device doe snot heat up. So it wont be disturbing while playing games.
Multitasking is also fine in this device.
Now it has 3600 mAh battery which means you will get a 1.5 days of battery backup in it if you are a casual to moderate user. But if you are a very heavy user, then you may get a full day battery backup.
It has VoLTE support which means you may use Jio in it without any issues.
8.Now it is a proper dual SIM device with a dedicated micro SD card slot in it.
It has a 64 GB of internal storage but can also be expanded with the help of a micro SD card.
Now coming to the camera performance. It has a 13 MP rear facing and a 13 MP front facing camera. The rear camera has a f/1.7 lens which means low light imaging is possible in it.
But it does not have any kind of stabilization offered to the camera sensor. So while taking a snap in the low light conditions, you have to keep the device perfectly stable.
Front facing camera is also pretty good and can take good quality selfies for you.
Now another thing I like about this device is that it has a full integration for Samsung Pay which means if you save your credit or debit card in it, you can pay with it in the PoS in the stores.
The fingerpprint scanner is very responsive in it. But if your finger is a little bit of wet due to sweat or any other reason, it wont work. So remember to keep your fingers dry.
CONS: -
There is no physical LED light in this device.
The RAM management is very dissappointing in this device. Though it has a 3 GB RAM, Its management is poor. If there are more than 5 apps onened in your device, it will just reload the app if u try to open them again.
There is a minor UI lag in this device. Though you wont feel it all the time but the UI does lag sometimes.
Inspite of having a big battery, it does not has a quick charger in it. So it will take around 2 hours for the device to get fully charged.
The worst thing about this device is that the processor provided in this device is just very old. I mean Exynos 7870 was the processor used in the old Galaxy J series phones.
CONCLUTION: -
Overall, the phone is a very decent phone. If you are very heavy user, you wont like the device. But if you are a casual to moderate user, the device will run just perfect for you. Therefore, Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro with priced at around 20, 000/- is a good phone overall.
