Samsung note 5 is a flagship device from samsung released on 2016.
Sound Reception- The sound quality of the spakers is absolutely clear in the device and the earpiece sound reception while attending cellular calls also works perfectly with no issues. Secondary noise cancellation microphone enhances the sound clarity of cellular calls.
User Friendly- The note 5 tuns on android lollipop out of the box which is upgradeable to android marshmallow. This is an user friendly device with no complications whatsever.
Style & Design- The 5.7 inch smartphone does not seem to large although one handed usage is not comfortable with the device. The stylus or the s pen is an attractive accessory of the note 5. The built quality of the smartphone is premium and the in hand feel is awesome. It is protected by corning gorilla glass 4 on both front and back.
Other Features-The samsung note 5 is powered by an octacore Exynos 7420 chipset coupled with Mali T760MP8. The device just works smoothly no matter what we throw at them. It is a perfect phone used as a daily driver. Gaming performance is also smooth with the device, even graphic oriented games also runs smoothly. It is having a 4 gb RAM and the internal memory varies in three different variants of the phone- 32 gb, 64 gb, 128 gb. There is no dedicated slot for the micro sd card. This is a very big disadvantage of the smartphone considering the price point, samsung should have provided a dedicated slot for the sd card. It is a dual sim device which supports VOLTE. The RAM management is pretty good in the device and multitasking is really smooth. The device houses a 3000 mAh battery which does not give a satisfactory backup, as you might need to charge the phone for a second time on a single day. The home button also acts as a fingerprint sensor which works perfecty most of the time. But it s not the fastest fingerprint scanner. The rear camera is a 16 MP shooter with optical image stabilization and the front camera is a 5 MP camera. The picture quality and video quality is also good in the device.
Look & Feel- The smartphone does look premium and is more applicable for those who takes a lot of notes and in search of a daily driver that does the job.
Value for money- The smartphone is priced at around Rs. 40000 which I feel is not at all a value for money purchase. These days even 64 gb becomes less for workers who does most of the job on their phone. And the absence of the sd card killed the samsung note 5.
