Never ever purchase Samsung Galaxy Note


I have big trouble with Samsung Galaxy Note after 7 days of purchase to my device. I highly emphasis not to go for any of Samsung product. My friend has same issue with I phone; technical issue may happen, but with iPhone he got excellent support from iPhone, where as my experience with Samsung is very bad. Check below whole story:

Problem:


Sometime(once in 4-5 days) my phone goes in dead mode. Dead mode; I define as phone is OFF; no key work, LCD blank. To make it need to forcefully restart; to do that need to press power button 3-4 times. During dead mode if somebody call, he gets ring, however I didn’t get any ring or call alter or miss call. As during dead mode caller gets ring; hence the phone is not completely OFF.


This issue occurs in interval of 4-5 days.

  1. First time problem occurs on 12th November 2012. After 7 days of my purchase. The problem persist every 4-5 days, I waited for sometime and finally complained to Samsung via email.

Dated: 31 January 2013.


Samsung told me to do Factory Data Reset. I did couple of time and also upgraded software with version 4.0 Ice Cream sandwich to 4.2 Jelly Bean.




  1. The issue persist. Than finally I contacted local service center:




Shree Ram Krishna Enterprise, FIRST FLOOR SATGURU COMPLEX, ABOVE NIKE FACTORY STORE, OPP.RELIANCE, WEB WORLD, SHIV RANJANI CROSS ROAD, Ahmedabad, India.

Date: 10th April 2013, they gave instrument back to me on 12/4/2013.


They just upgraded os again with Jelly Bean. I assume even they are not able to understand the problem I am facing. Issue persist. I got the issue again on 19/4/2013.


This time I contacted support center via phone; 1800110011. I spoke with sr. person name as Sandeep. Sandeep spoken with Shree Ram Krishana enterprise manager; Rajendrabhai and instructed to look the issue carefully. The person asked to me meet Hemant, executive who handles mobile division in support center. I again gave instrument to Hemant for checkup.




  1. 19/4/2013, they gave instrument back to me on 24/4/2013 saying that you change SIM card. I did that. However the issue persist.




  2. I got the issue again on 2/5/2013. I immediately rushed to Samsung to show that exact issue. I meet hemant there and he confirmed the issue with me. He show it, dialed my mobile no(he got ringing) and restarted the device after pressing button 3-4 times. As per Hemant he has not seen such issue in past. As per him they need to replace Mother Board; if problem persist, need to replace Battery and if still than need to replace LCD screen. With that view I asked for replacement. I submitted phone to service center.






The phone at present(8/5/2013) is with Samsung service center. I requested them to replace the phone. Later after  that I got call from person name as Sanjeev from CEO office on 4/5/2013. He told me that will not replace the phone and assure me to get through checkup. He told me that I will get call from Samsung on Monday to let you know progress. Today, 8/5/2013 there is no progress. I haven’t used any of application since February 2013 as I need to submit the phone to service center or I need to do reset. Surprisingly, I asked Sanjeev email id of CEO; he said I can’t give. I said just let me know name of CEO; he said you will get it from website. I don’t know what is the big deal. I want email Id to give them unique issue I am facing, that may give them idea of touble we are facing after buying Samsung phone.


I will update the progress to this forum later as it happens. I strongly believe that don’t go for any of Samsung mobile product. Instead prefer product from company which understand client problem.
