I have purchased Samsung Galaxy On Nxt 3GB RAM 64GB mobile in Nov2017(Rs.12, 900.00). I did a lot of research and comparison, then I purchased this mobile and truly speaking, I like this mobile a lot with its features and performance. Below are my TRUE positives and negatives after its usage for 4 months.
POSITIVES:
Battery: I heard lot of comments about its battery But let me tell you, before going to office, I charge it to around 90% and I still see around 25% the next morning(after 24 hrs). I travel a lot and as you know, during travel, battery consumption happens fast due to signal search, roaming etc.but I am impressed with its battery as even after my 16-18 hrs train travel, I see remaining battery as10-15% which is very good.
Battery-saving mode: It has 3 modes, Power saving mode, Ultra data saving mode and S Power planning mode. Its Ultra data saving mode is amazing! Let me tell you if you think you will not be able to charge your mobile for next 3-4 hrs and you see your battery level as 25-30%, switch On the Ultra data saving mode. You will be amazed to see even after 3-4 hrs, you will have some battery remaining.though it limit some apps to use only which is perfectly Ok.
Body-built: It is Metal body and its very good w.r.t look and sturdiness.
Slim body: Its slim body is impressive and the battery is non-removable(Only customer care center can change your battery once it needs change).
Its 64Gb internal memory is very very good and I also use a external 128 GB which is more then enough for a normal-medium user.
Call quality: Lot of people has asked this question, so after my 4 months usage, let me tell you, Samsung phone’s call quality is very good among other phones. I have found its call quality impressive.
Now a days you can find 4GB RAM phone also.but my this 3GB RAM phone works pretty fast and which is more than enough for a normal-heavy usage person. Games don’t hang/lag in this.
Camera: Photos/Videos taken through this phone has very good resolution.night can be improved better but I am satisfied with the photo/video quality.
No heating issues for the last 4 months after my usage.
It comes with OTG so you can directly connect to external storage device.
NEGATIVES:
The headphone jack is given at the below unlike previous Samsung phones where it was given at top.now-a-days I have found new phones in market are also having this jack at bottom only.I don’t know why. I was comfortable with the jack at top.so if Samsung can again place this at top.would be great!
Sometimes Internet connectivity goes off when speaking on a call.I have found this issue with other phones also.but if Samsung can look into this issue and resolve.would be great!
MP3 player: It comes with Google play music which I don’t like as you cannot open music folders-wise. In earlier phones, they used to provide MusicPlayer(blue color) which was very good.hope Samsung can put it back on new phones.
