Samsung has introduced another series of smartphones, the ON5 is one of them. They launched ON5 and ON7 together. ON5 is the smaller one with smaller display i.e 5 inch and a greater rear megapixel than ON5 .
DESIGN
The design language of the Samsung phones is same as usual.Overall the phone have curved edges and back has leather finish, which makes phone loook premium .The phone is little thick, but it’s ok ok for this price.
DISPLAY
The display on ON5 is not that great as seen on other competitors in this price range because it is TFT Full HD screen.Even J1, J2 has a better display than this ON5, But I was amazed by the display quality that Samsung is giving in HD Display, the colors output is good.
INTERFACE
The Samsung has it’s own custom skin that is TOUCH WIZ UI, Which is the demanding ui in the smartphone market. Previous touchwiz UIS were laggy but Samsung is improving in it’s UI.This phone comes with latest samsung UI which is seen in flagship Phones of Samsung like s6 or s6 edge, Note 5 etc.In this phone the bloatware is also very less.It is main reason for lagginess of Phone.
HARDWARE AND PERFORMANCE
The phone is powered by Exynos 3475 which is as equal as Snapdragon 410 chipset. It is clocked at 1.3 GHz.Out of 1.5 GB of RAM that is being installed on the device you get around 534 MB RAM free, other 681 MB is used by the system while some default apps are running in background were using around 184 MB of RAM.
CAMERA
The camera of this phone is 8MP on rear and Front 5MP which is actually amazing.The colours, Saturation comes out very well.
BATTERY
The Battery on ON5 is very good that is 2600 MAh, It will give you around a days backup with moderate usagee.
CONNECTIVITY
THe connectivity is very good .I didn’t face any wifi or signal drops.The phone has LTE support in both the sim cards.You can use 4G in both the sim cards without swapping the cards.
OVERALL
Overall the phone is Good .The BEst part is Samsung itself .The After sales of Samsung is Amazing, While other Chinese brands like Lenovo, Xiaomi, Coolpad, etc can’t repair the Phone for 30-40 days .Samsung repairs it within 2-3 Days.
