Cons:
1. the display is a HD screen it is of TFT panel. The viewing angles are not great, plus the color reproduction is not like the AMOLED. I don’t understand why Samsung is not using AMOLED displays specifically with the “On Series”.
2. Next Samsung Galaxy On7 Pro cons is the Snapdragon 410 processor which is only a quad-core. There are newer and better processor even in the 400 lineup, for instance the Snapdragon 430 or 435 is an Octa-core chipset. Why not use that?
3. The same goes with the GPU which is of Adreno 306 which is another cons. Do not expect high end games to run smoothly.
4. Next Samsung Galaxy On7 Pro cons is that it does not support adaptive brightness. The reason is because of the absence of ambient light sensor.
5. There is also no gyroscope which means attaching to VR headset is not possible. Gyroscope is important because it also allows better gaming experience by making the orientation a lot smoother in terms of horizontal, vertical and angular motion.
6. Another Samsung Galaxy On7 Pro cons or disadvantages is that turn by turn navigation with maps is not possible. The reason is that there is no compass ( or magnetometer) .
7. There is no fast battery charging technology, charging the battery from 0% to 100% takes more than 5 hours.
8. And the last Samsung Galaxy On7 Pro cons is the absence of Corning Gorilla Glass for the protection of its display.
