We purchased Samsung LCD 40 inch in Sep 2010 for Rs.61000 to be surprised in Dec 2011 that the TV screen is now white and cannot work anymore. The sound is working but the picture is white. When you call the Customer service, the engineer said that the panel has gone bad and it will cost you Rs.30, 000 to repair the same.
Also the new panel only has 1 month warranty. Are you serious?? We are in total shock right now as I cannot believe that any product that too of a company like Samsung can have such a short life. we had invested Rs.61000 on this product and now we are left with no choice but buy a new one. And this is not the only Samsung TV we have at home, we have around 2 TVs of Samsung, 1 Fridge, 1 DVD player, 1 AC, 1 washing machine. I am so afraid for all of them.
I have always been such a samsung loyalist which you can make from my list above but now is totally disillusioned by this company. Don’t think will ever be able to buy anything from Samsung again.
