I bought Samsung 40’’ LCD TV, 2 years back. It worked fine for 2 years and suddenly started taking too much time to start and one day stopped working. I called Samsung Cust. care and requested for service. Their "so busy" brilliant guy called me and said that he can come at 11 0 clock in morning "only" as if he is prime minister and I am dying to meet him.
After hearing a few good words from me, he agreed to come in evening but next day. This respected guy came 2 hours late but came atleast. He started looking into TV and changed a couple of capacitors [ I though he is extra ordinary that found out point of problem in one shot ] but as expected that was not issue. After 15 mins he told me that both of the PCB’s are gone and I need to replace those which will cost around 10K and will take 7 - 10 days.
I questioned that why can’t you replace single IC which is faulty and he said "technology is not so good" what . He told me that next day someone from Samsung will call me to confirm that I have ordered 2 pcb replacement. But again they were as expected and no one called me. I called that guy and requested to order PCB for me. I got call next day for conformation which I answered as yes. After 8 - 10 days of this thing, even today I am wailing for a good response about status and calling customer care every day but no one is answering me.
One thing I would say about Samsung customer care is "they know every junk / useless thing about you but dont know the things which you are looking for". They will conform your cell no twice but no one will call you and the best thing is "they are neither helpful nor technical"
My suggestion would be "dont go for Samsung. I used to like Samsung but after their classic service I am saying never never go for Samsung". I have to rate this product as "poor" because there is no rating lower than this. I would suggest rating as "worst".
