Spent 80k for our dream TV - Samsung 46 LED - UA46D5500, just to see a poor-quality panel. Observed horizontal lines right from day one. The panel failed soon and we had to get it replaced. Thankfully, it was under the warranty period.
Otherwise we would have had to cough up 50k just for the panel. The call center supervisor (Mr. Arun) was as cold as he could get when speaking to us. The technician was very helpful and got the panel replaced in a couple of days. But once the panel is replaced, nobody would like to talk to you at the call center.
