We bought this model (Samsung RT49M) in Nov 2006 and in less than 3 years there hsa been a complaint of gas leakage because of which the refrigerator has not been working properly since Sunday. We have lodged a complant in the call centre.
Complaint No: 8404217334. The service guy who came on Monday identified it to be a gas leak problem but there has been no action taken since. We have been repeatedly calling that executive and the call centre.
Makes me think why I spend 37000/- rupees on Samsung if this is the kind of product and service they offer. Probably would never buy another samsung product again. We have even lodged a complaint on their website but as is the case in India, seems no-one reads mails sent by the customer.
After all if they can fleece a new customer they would be more than happy to collect 37000 than to address a compaint which would just earn them a 1000/- rupees. Extremely poor after sales service.
