I bought this phone mainly for the elegant looks - at that time, it was one of the snazziest-looking phones around.
By and large, it worked fine in India. When I tried to use a pre-paid (local) SIM card in Germany, it became very erratic. It often did not find the network etc. Note that with this same SIM card, I have absolutely no problems with my Motorola phone.
The phone is now a write-off because, the authorized service agent tells me, it’s gotten fried by a power surge.
I’m unlikely to buy a Samsung phone in a hurry now.
