I bought a Samsung C100 about 10 months back. The reason I bought it was that it looked really slim , sleek and beautiful. Also it has a 64K colour screen, which is probably the highest for
its low price range. The battery is also good and does not require recharging often. There are 2 options in which the menu can be displayed. One is like a list, which when selected, opens another list with further options. The second type is like a picture which changes when you click the down button. This looks better but does not show all options at once.
The GUI is great with excellent colours, hint (popup with no of messages, missed calls) before selecting, number selection allowed instead clicking down/up button ... etc.
Now for the missing features. There is no option to save sounds sent by friends as ringtones. However you CAN save it as a file and listen to it. But you cannot make it a ringtone.
Also I tried to download a photo from another cell phone which had a camera, into the C100, using the Infrared port. But that didn’t work. However it did work with another sony-ericsson phone. So that means there was a problem with my phone.
Also the down arrow does not work as an ENTER key while sending SMS. I have not found how we can go to a new line yet.

One of my friends faced a major problem with the C100. He was playing a Java game (Bowling) and he says the software just crashed. He went to the Samsung tech assistance and reloaded the software. However he lost all the phone numbers he stored.
After hearing this I am reducing the rating for this phone from 4 to 3.
