Samsung C100-A true master piece

Hi All,

With so many mobiles phones to choose, I was really confused on which model to go in for. I had used Siemens C35 and Nokia 3315 before, so I needed a cell with the features of Siemens and the battery life like Nokias. And there is just one place that I turn to for my decisions. Mouthshut.com

I dont believe in spending more than Rs 10000 on a cell as I think it is pointless to spend so much money on such a small device. So my search was for a cell which could give me as much as I wanted with this budget. So my search began on mouthshut.

No other cell could fill the place of Samsung C100. It had most of the features a person could want in a cell phone. Besides camera support, MMS is not supported. But besides that, it has a 65000 colour display, 40 polyphonic ring tones, an infra port, supports conference calls and the normal features like Organiser, etc. I have also read that it can synchronise with Outlook Express. I have not tried this yet.

All this at a price of less than Rs 7000. I bought mine for Rs 6700 with bill at Bangalore with national warranty. I was getting it for Rs 6400 with dealer warranty. But another additional Rs 300 for national warranty was not a big pinch for me. The cell is quite good. Got used to it the same day I bought it.

Only problem that I have till now is that when I put the cell in my pocket, I dont even know its there. I have to feel the cell everytime to check whether it’s really there. The vibration is not as good as compared to Nokia, but I have not missed a call till now. After getting used to the vibration in a day or two, I can sense even the slightest vibration now. The battery life is excellent.

I charged the mobile after 3 days with atleast 30-45 mins of calls daily. The voice clarity also is excellent. I have not had better clarity in the Nokia or the Siemens. I had also read some reviews that you cannot add words in the T9 dictionary of the cell. But besides short forms, I dont have problems with that.

Overall, I love this cell and till now I do not have any complaints about it. Guess you have similar views once you buy it.

Till then, good luck.
