The purchase of c-100 was more of looks-oriented then features or its ability to do anything else.
I purchased this set in 6k and its worth every penny, being best looking set in its category across brands. main plus points in the cell is its display which is richest!! (you have to see it to believe it.)
I had been a hardcore Nok fan and user from begining, though I had a brief stint with motorola (yuks!!), sony-errickson (cool!) and siemens (ugh!!) The userfriendlyness of Nokia is far far superior then any other set.
Samsung c 100 is one of the pretty good sets I have used, it has shortcuts whcih are lacking in Nok sets, and its display is just out of the world. The voice quality is very good, and the volume controle at the side of the cell is very convenient to control the speaker volume while talking without disturbing the conversation (a minus in nokia).
Although the telephone book doesnt have a shortcut whcih is biggest drawback in the set, unlike Nokia the telephone book search is to be performed in old style scrolling through fonebook-search-name... thankfully its just two clicks away, otherwise I would have given it away the moment I started using it.
it has a visual display of call-connector, means that you dont have to keep the cell next to your ears waiting for the call to connect, the display color changes and shows waves going out giving idea of ringing... (brilliant style), and the color changes again if the call is picked up... means you just can take a look at the set and start speaking when tis required... (very convenient for those who love to give missed calls :-) )
I am still using the set and shall come back time to time to update about the features...
In short its good buy!
