I have some few words to let you know say
about Samsung SGH D900i as my wife has got a this phone, I have
driven model number of times and have experienced some good some bad
things with this Model.
This 85 grams slider phone has a Lithium-Ion battery type, which allows
you talk time of 210 minutes and stand by time of 250 hours.
It has
added features like 262k colour display with resolution of 240 x 320
pixels, 3.13MP Camera with 4x Digital Zoom and Flash, Quad-band, FM
Radio, MP3 Player, Voice mail, Bluetooth, GPRS, EDGE, SMS, MMS and
handsfree speaker.
The phone supports Document viewer (Word, Excel,
Powerpoint, PDF). The phone comes has unique feature of Digital Power
Amplifier. The phone also has 60MB Internal Memory with Expandable
microSD memory and comes with a Mobile Tracker.
When you connect your phone
through a USB port it has to charge, that is quite normal! There is no
mayor difference between D900 and D900i except that D900i has a radio
and maybe few things around camera! Design is better on D900i!
Problem is that you can’t
change message melody, you can only use pre-made tones for messages,
you can’t change themes!
The biggest problem with this phone is that
you cannot use ringtone directly from your memory card, you have to
copy it to phone and then make it as ringtone.
Battery can last up to 2
days max with an average use of phone! 20-30 messages per day,
listening to music, couple of phone calls and taking few pictures and
videos = 2 days of battery! Memory card can be up to 2 gb, but I
reccomend max 1 Gb!
Camera is good, it takes solid pictures, it has a
good autofocus but I think it is slow a bit, it need time to take a
good picture! In dark rooms, camera is quite useless, it has flash but
it is not big help!
Sound is awesome, when you listen to music from
this phone it can be played loud and still it is a clean sound,
speakerphone is good too!
