I was too much disappointed when I got my w220 broken by accident last week...was thinking about new models & none of them were promising to me as per my requirements.we are allowed to carry ONLY basic phones in office :(& I dont like repeating models.i was looking for a new cell in a market & my eyes got caughted by that small red i-pod.i went to c that...wolla...tht was a c170 by samsung..
Wht a slickest design they have made.many many thanks to designer of c170 & technicians who got battery, sim card placeholder, processor, 65k color display, POWERFUL speakers & good enough mic fitted within small place.i was wondering whether it is available in other colors or not & shopkeeper show me a black one.
Wow I found it perfect for me.it has almost all basic features you expect in ur routine life.Positive:- mind blowing handsfree kit (headphones/mic) with dazzling sound effect- superb FM sound- good enough speakers quality- nice & slickest design i’ve seen ever- slimmest like bookmark- most of all indian languages support (such as, Hindi, Bangla, Punjabi, Gujarati, Kannada, Tamil etc.)- & Last but not least Mobile tracker (though who wanna track cell worth Rs. 2500/-, all companies should include this feature in their mid & big budget phones also)
Negative:- no good wallpapers except current month Calander in background- no good ringtones (quality of ringing sound is good though)- just 500kb memory to download- data cables not available in market- can not use handsfree while charging (as charger & handsfree shares same port which is on right side bar of the phone)- only up/down keys available in center (no left-right buttons/ you have to use "4" & "6" for that**For Samsung officials / technicians....
General Samsung phone probs:**- If you are in mid of something & u dont want to miss call until you finish your 5 sec task, you can not put on silent mode while ringing (either atten or decline is must)- If you put ur samsung cell on VibraRing it vibrates for 3 times (almost 4-5 rings for caller) & after it puts on sound. Rather it should do both together for better attention & ease of use.- all basic samsung phones takes 2-3 seconds to popup unlock keypad & shows boring animation of tickmark, they should make it faster.
