I purchased this phone on a special going on at Radio Shack. It was pretty cheap and got a DVD player to boot. My husband wanted it because of the flip top (he never uses the phone). It is blue and silver (Im not sure it all are colored that way). It toke me a little bit to get used to. My previous phone from Radio Shack, not certain of the brand was half the price of this one and had more little pluss than this phone.
Some features lost in purchasing this new phone was: 1. Stopwatch (handy for my daughters in the mile runs for athletics)
Calculator (used many times in the grocery store)
The ability to put more than one number to a label (home, work, mobile, other, etc.) My new phone only allows one per label.
Games;blackjack and a memory game. Other than those listed, not too many complaints on the phone. Sound on it is normally really clear. Normally no problem hearing. I live in the woods down a 3 mile dirt road, 15 miles outside of town.
Once I am about 10 miles out of town I go into analog roam. I dont always get my calls in my little dead zone. If I get a message on my way home from work, say about 5:45 in the evening, I get the message the next morning when I am half way to work. I dont think I can really blame that on the phone though, therefore, I would recommend this phone to others, as long as the are not purchasing for the 4 items listed above, cause it aint got it.
