I bought this phone 2 months ago. Previous to this I was using HTC phones.
I go for this phone bcoz of its design and camera, but after using this phone, its horrible.
It was like I had buy a "Touchscreen phone" having "3.2MP camera" & "Features worth rupees 2000".
The biggest feature that I dislike is, you cant install any application on it.WTF.
This phone is not at all customizable. You have to use this phone, as given by Samsung.
Features that you cant do with this phone are:-
You cant record your call.
SMS is limited to 500 only.
Video Recording with Camera is very poor.
Full Keybord is available only in Landscape mode.
You can not install a single software.
When you are on a call, ur screen will be Lock, you will not be able to access ur SMS.
If you want to play more than 1 Video file, there is no option. U have to play each video one by one.
For Audio file, Playlist is not manageable.
No Equalizer available. Only preset equalizers are there. user can not customize them.
FM Radio- You can not save you FM Stations. means every time you need to search the, and you have to remember them by there Frequency. Phone will display list like "110.5", "93.6", "98.7".WTF
You can download more games from Samsung’s site(not Free), but from outside, ha ha ha NO WAY.
You can access Doc/PPT as in read only mode. But the quality is also not that much good.
Name of Phone Profile you can not change. You can not open Password protected pdf/xl files like account/credit card statement.
14 When you are in Offline(same as Flight) profile, you will not able to use FM & Bluetooth. Yaar at-least Bluetooth to access karne do:(
You can send SMS to 10 member’s at a time. it is a bit OK, but after this you will receive 10 SMS.as Delevery Report.:( Spend your rest of time to delete them.
A big Security yap this phone have:- Lock your phone’s SMS using Security Function. Go to Call Log. Select a log as SMS. Select his/her SMS log entry. You will be able to access all the msgs, your one GF will know ur second GF’s sms, jus joking.
Battry support for 8-9 Hours(10-15 Songs, 1-1.5 Hour Talking, 5-7 SMS), if it is OK for you, than you can avoid this point.
If you have to go BACK, you have to press hardkey. There is no softkey(apart from File Access.). Not
Stylus k liye koi jagah nahi hai mere bhai, Ya to Latkao, ya leave it. I am using my Finger:) lol.
Baki kya bacha is Phone me, He he he.
Features that I like in this phone are:-
Big Screen with good responsive Touch Panel.
Screen resolution is really very good, that is also good as compare with HTC phones. Really I like it.
Camera of Photo capturing is good.
I like Fake Call option very much.:)
Mobile Tracker is good feature for which I bye this phone, I have lost 2 HTC phones before this phone.
You can assign ringtone for SMS from an individual also.
7.Sound Quality is good.
Overall in 8500 INR you will get a phone with
3.2 MP Camera
Touch Screen.
features of a phone having value 2000 INR only.
OKKKK, One more thing, one time I was inserted SD Card(Memory Card) into my pnone, and I dnt know how its lock(for SD card) was broken. I went to Service Center saying that I have inserted my SD Card correctly even than my SD Card Slot’s lock has been broken, and they told me that IT IS A PHYSICAL DAMAGE AND WE WILL NOT GIVE SERVICE FOR THIS. Are mere bhai, SD card ka lock itna Najuk hai k khud se tut jaye to hum kya karen? meien to use khol k toda nahi na! Also they they told 3000 Ru for repairing, they told me to change entire bord of phone.
Well, moral of the story, it is not a worthy phone(as per my opinion).
add 1-2 thousand more on ur budget & go for good Nokia Smart phone or HTC’s any Basic phone, you will be really happy.
