Samsung x-200
hi all,
I know its after long time I am writing a review unfortunately due to some unavoidable circumstances(like my marriage), I didn’t get time to write a review, anyways now I have ample time.
Samsung X-200 happened to be a gift to me from my sister in law, I used to have Nokia cellphone, but in last five years, I have been swinging between Nokia and Samsung only, Motorola was my first set.
Samsung X-200 is a basic cellphone, I would also say that its a basic cellphone from all corners. NO Infra red technology. No Bluetooth, No Camera etc etc etc. I was surprised when Airtel refused to provide MMS service on it as they say it a basic cellphone, cannt have GPRS also from them, but hutch could provide the same (probably providers problem)
Anyways I always have an inclination towards flap cellphone, I used to have Samsung X-480, which I lost in my office, but this X-100 reminds me those old Nokia set which were strong enough to be thrown on cars dash board and still working!!!, no software problem works absoloutly fine.
I believe this cellphone is for people like me, who would like to have a basic cellphone from all corners, and is within a range of less than 7000/- band.
Prons of the cellphone:-
Basic hence no tension, no xtra features to be learnt.
good memory space for SMS and address book
Speakers phone
Good screen clarity, high resolution.
no software issue so far, have used it for 68 hrs so far
Cons of the cellphone:-
no LCD display on the top of flap, hence the use of flip open feature which is there in cellphone is of no use, if have to avoid Girlfriends call, in presence of wife, call would be picked up!!!
Once the ring tone is downloaded cannot delete it, could over write it!!!
low battery back up, god knows the exact time, but I have to daily charge it
clarity of speakers phones are of no use, although they exist.
No Games, No radio (i think they have actually made it Roti. Kapada, makkan and mobile!!!)
Over all this cellphone exist for 3 reasons in my pocket:-
Was gifted by my Sister in law, so it has to be there
No one ever made an attempt to steel it, I left it so many times on table in my office, thrice I left it intentinally in Cafe coffee day, but it was returned back to me (see the marriage bond)
Its a flap phone
thanks for your time for reading my views over X-100, waiting to see your comments over the same
