This phone is actually quite rugged in my belief. Since I have bought it I have dropped the phone more than half a dozen times and it still works just fine(don’t try it deliberately). I bought this phone mainly to replace my MotoRazr which got stolen. I think it has been able to hold good in most factors.
The point where this phone scores over the others is the price and sound quality. This is one of the few phones in which you can actually hear someone talking in moderate city traffic, something which most other phones score very poorly on. Its 1.3 MP camera is pretty standard to most phones in its price and segment. Its battery is also very good and once charged it lasts for a pretty long time.
Its biggest disappoint is its mp3 player which cannot be minimized.
Never having used Samsung before, I picked up this brand and I must say I wasnt disappointed.
I would recommend buying the phone if you are looking at a handy phone, with moderate amount of features.
