Hi all,
here is my review on samsung X700.
1) Display: The display is same of that with Samsung D500 (Awarded best mobile of the year 2005).It uses an 1.9 inch TFT 262 colors screen supporting a resolution of 176*220.No doubt it uses the best screen available in the market.
2) Camera: This machine is equipped with a 1.3 mega pixel camera with 4x digital zoom. Maximum resolution of 1280*1024.camera supports various modes like MEGA, VGA, CIF, QCIF.There are various other options like ISO settings (Adjusts lights according to environment), a spot focus (camera lens focuses on a particular area).Various additional effects such as negative, sepia and many more.Brigtness can be adjusted manually. Video recording is unlimited.
3) Music: Samsung X700 delivers great sound through its dual stereo speakers.it; s not as loud as we see in some of the walkman series from Sony Ericsson but the sound is crystal clear. The headphones provided with the phone is simply rocking (sounds through headphones is even better than some of the walkman series).u will also notice a stereo FM radio which can save up to 30 channels. Quality of FM radio is average.
4) Pc connectivity: it supports Bluetooth 1.2.a USB 2.0 port. USB cable can be used as a mass storage device(memory card can be accessed using data cable)
5) Some of the other feature includes an expandable memory support. Message blocking facility. The phone also acts as an answering machine.
Now let’s go through some of the drawbacks about this phone
1) Mp3 player cannot be minimized.
2) It does not support themes.
Well guys…believe me there is not much of drawbacks in this phone. I had this phone for about 3 months now I didn’t even experience a single occasion when the phone hanged or restarted by itself (these problems are common in nokia symbian phones). The phone is now available for a price of 8800INR.well for that price we get a nice phone with data cable, stereo headset, 64 MB memory card and software include in the kit. Well guys don’t think twice go for it since KAL HO YA NA HOO.
Thanks for reading my review. Don’t forget to rate it. JOHN.
