Hello friends. Recently bought Samsung Z2 mobile for my mother at RS 4500/- from local retailer shop. It claims to b smartphone but I did not find any specification that really makes it smartphone. Except It is cheapest 4G phone at low price that support VoLTE calling and it comes pre-bundled with Reliance JIO 4G sim.
It is dual sim mobile Which support 4G or LTE network with voLTE support. It is very handy and looks very classic because of new design made by Samsung. Samsung Z2 comprises of TFT capacitive touchscreen with size of 4 inch which gives the resolution of 480 x 800 pixel which gives the HD like experience while watching movies.
It has a 1 GB of RAM which does not bar to run specific app and has 8 GB of internal memory as well, which can be extended upto 200 GB via microSD card which is very huge capability. This Samsung Z2 phone come with Quad-core processor which does not lag while multitasking.
It has 5 MP of primary camera with LED flash but not support autofocus which makes it bad camera and has secondary VGA camera which is not quit good either for selfies. It also has some other features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, FM Radio etc. It sounds quality is not very loud while ringing the phone but yes has a soften sound, which spoils the movie watching experience.
Well, it runs on Tizen OS, which is Samsung official OS which really sucks. It does have the Tizen store but not loads of useful apps like Google play store has. Due to Limited apps, it lacks large range of features. Common social apps like Facebook, whats app can be downloaded from its store but very sad to say it’s store does not has another social apps like Instagram, twitter, Tumblr etc. But best part of it is that it’s UI is very user friendly and different from another UI, which does not lag while swapping the apps. Multitasking can be done with ease of doing.
Over all I would say this phone is not able to compete any other android smartphone but yes best suited for those people who is very new to operate touchscreen phone and want a budget voLTE phone which runs only specific apps but the people like me, who want to do lots of thing with their phone, will regret after buying this for personal use.
