I bought this pendrive for using USB 3.0 ports available in desktop computer and USB 3.0 card of laptop. With USB 3.0 port it gives speed of upto 90MBps(from USB 3.0 to USB 3.0 devices) and uptp 60MBps from computer to pendrive. I was surprised when I observed the speed of 25-30 MBps even with USB 2.0 ports.So even if one using old USB 2.0 ports, this pendrive will offer amazingly fast speeds of over 15-20MBps write speed. Read speed was over 25MBps consistenly with USB 2.0.I am mainly using the same for multimedia files to be transferred from computer to pendrive to watch HD Movies/Video Songs in my Blu-Ray Home Theatre. I am providing details mainly for USB 2.0 ports because still over 80% users have older USB 2.0 ports in their computer and this pendrive makes them USB 3.0 like ports. One must go for this pendrive.I have SanDisk pendrives right from the capacity of 512MB Cruiser(purchased in 2006) and still using it so one can judge the reliability of the same. Hardly I have come across anyone telling me SanDisk pendrives have gone unusable even after years.Rather I have come across frequently with people with unusable pendrives of other major brands which I just can’t name over here.
