Gandhi Nagar in Adyar is one of the most happening places in Chennai and one cannot miss the hot spot Sangeetha Veg restaurant in this area.
It is well connected to other important places like Velachery, Besant Nagar and Thiruvanmiyur.
Sangeetha has many number of joints in Chennai but this place in Adyar is truly worth visiting. The place is much spacious as compared to other joints u have decent space for car park and the most attractive thing in this area is that you have other famous places like Odyssey -book store and Sri Krishna Sweets so the crowd keeps thronging in at Sangeetha.
A glowing look alike of a burning flame welcomes u to its interiors. It has two floors the first floor caters to huge crowd and to cope up with the crowd they have a huge hall in the second floor too but the service is on in the second floor only when the crowd is too large in number.Customer service is good and the staff are very courteous.
Coming to the delicacies it has a variety of both southie and northie delights that one gets confused in ordering while browsing the menu card coz all of them seem to be tempting and delicious.Sangeetha is mainly famous for its variety of dosas which are tremendous and ofcourse the northie stuffs are no exemption to their tastes. They have good variety of soups and starters too, the chat items are worth a try and to name a few are pav bahji, and the ones with sev.
After trying out all these stuffs, one cannot control their temptations towards desserts and no doubt u have mouth watering ones here at Sangeetha.
ull have to atleast spend sometime in choosing them as they all have exotic names and ull definitely not miss them after going through the contents and ingredients of each one of them.
The main drawback of this place is the waiting time here.Ull have to make an early entry so that u can be comfortably seated or else ude be jammed in the crowd and the prices are also on the higher side. Anyway it is worth spending for the quality of stuffs here.
For all those who are yet to visit Sangeetha, it leaves you with a lingering taste of its cuisine much after its dinner.
