'Sanjivani'- No More

I have watched Sanjivani from the very beginning. This serial was different. A hospital based realistic portrayal of characters and events which made it worth watching. So it started very well and in an encouraging style. The doctors appeared to be real, with some really dedicated to the profession, some common place doctors and some also doctors kind of admixture with tha same being true of nurses. Similarly on the suffering or disease side too it was realistic so were human behaviour, human responses or reactions.

But of late it has deteriorated into more of man-woman relations with their feelings of love and hatred as the central theme rather than the medical with which it started. The writers have failed to continue with and sustain the original story line. It is no more different from the scores of soaps which each channel throws at us each day of the week.

Sanjivani is supposed a potent herb of Ramayana fame. But this Sanjivani has already lost its name and fame.
