My Old BPL TV was due for replacement after nearly 10 years service with me. I was looking for an entry level LCD TV and fortunately came upon SANSUI KYUUTEN- LCD 205 Model which is an entry level LCD TV.
Great performance at very economical price. I bought this LCD TV in November 2007 and it is giving me excellent performance for the last 16 months without a single complaint till date. I would rate excellent picture quality and color reproduction. The sound out put is a bit low for music lovers- It’s only 5W x 2 stereo surround sound. But you can’t expect great sound performance from an entry level LCD TV. which cost Rs 18, 500 only.

It comes with a remote handset and 12V DC Supply adapter ( Good protection to your TV against voltage fluctuations). I have not used a separate voltage stabilizer. straight away connected the 12V DC Supply adaptor to my mains plug point.
I enjoy my DVD Player connected to its DVD Input.. Even with my analog cable connection, it gave excellent pictures. Recently I subscribed to digital cable from Asianet and my TV gives excellent digital TV images now. There is a VGA Input also which you can connect to your PC, but I have not used it so far.
I had no need to call the service centre till now ( since last 16 months of usage). There is a local service centre for Videocon/Sansui here .I would recommend this TV as Great Value for Moneyt entry level LCD TV with economical price. With 19" screen, it will fit to your space starved apartment or even bed room quite easily. there is also provision for the monitor to be be fixed on wall. ( For that you can call the Sansui service centre).
However one drawback, Sansui has not provided a tilt arrangement for the screen when you use the tv on table top. Before you buy one, please check the current price of this model ( price of LCD TVs have come down since I bought this one and also see whether there is a service centre at your center for Sansui LCD Tvs. Compare prices with different dealers and get the best offer.
