I got the "Sansui Thunder Master - 29" TV about 2.5 years ago and I’m quite satisifed with it.
We were looking out for a 29-inch TV as we wanted to upgrade from our standard 21-inch. At 16500/-, and about 2.5 years ago, it was a good deal. I had concerns about Sansui since it wasn’t the oldest/trusted brand around in INDIA. But, my fears have allayed and I’m quite satisfied with the product.
Pros:
Good sound quality(crisp and clear enough to watch it late in the night and still not worry about not having to hear the movie conversations clearly). It is better than I expected(and much better than LG, on sound quality).
Picture quality is good(for it’s class of TVs) and has a very decent remote control. Despite using it quite ruggedly and dropping it hard quite a few times, the remote is really sturdy and reliable. It is also very easy to navigate and the TV presents a user-friendly and intuitive interface.
A headphone connection is really a very useful facility. I can watch TV late at night without disturbing the other family members who are sleeping.
Cons:
- There aren’t any I can think of. Maybe, the weight of the TV!(It’s quite heavy).
I’m satisifed with the TV and my first experience with Sansui has been quite better than expected.
