As we all know santhanam, was a great comedian of all time in kollywood after goundamani. However, after his suprising decision to quit comedy and act as an hero , was a very bad decision. His mass popularity as a HERO, takes a back seat , as there is lot of room for improvement. His physique and mannerisms dosent suit him to be a hero. His personality is very different by the way. He has his own swag and his character is very good. He has been doing lot of charity works. Helping the needy and overall always makes everybody laugh with his great sense of humor. But he should stick to the comedy role instead of hero ! When it comes to performance as a hero, its little dull. As we have seen him all this years as a comedian and suddenly, you see him in a serious fight scene saving the heroine, its kinda weird. At some point he does perform well, but overall he is not a HERO product ! I give my full marks for the comedian Santhanam , however for the new Hero santhanam, I am not satisfied.
