Hi everyone,
I bought the portable Sanyo VCD-X200A VCD/MP3/CD player just a few days back. Actually I had gone to the customs shop to buy the portable version of Panasonic which is around Rs. 4500. I saw this Sanyo piece and liked it very much as it was thin & sleek model compared to its panasonic counterpart. I listened to it and was quite amazed with its clarity.
I must say I have never heard Hotel California better then this. And with its Xtra Bass, you can get the best possible base you can imgaine. And when I came to know that its ONLY for Rs. 2900 (without Bill & Warranty) a whole Rs. 1500 less then the Panasonic version, I decided on this. All the formats i.e CD/VCD/MP3 play extremely well on this. Its a prized possesion I must say for all the music geeks. But there is a small problem which I am not sure if its there with all portable players or not. This one says it recognises CD-RW format as well.
WhatI noticed was that it was not recognising all the brands of CD-RW. Again as I said I dont know if its a problem with all the other Portable players as well or not. Also, try to get your hands on Sanyo VCD-X200A and not Sanyo VCD-X200 as the X200 only has 30 Sec Anti Skip for MP3 and 20 Sec Anti Skip for CD. But X200A has 100 & 40 seconds respectively. The VCD clarity was also quite clear and amazing. Hope this review helps.
