I had just been to Ooty and chose this place for its location. Everything is just a walk away from this place. You can literally see the bus stand from the premises. I have been surprised with the negative reviews about this place, and frankly had I seen these before I stayed at the hotel, I probably wouldn’t have dared to stay there.
Having said that I must say that this place isnt all that bad after all. In fact I had an extremely pleasant stay, with clean rooms, wonderful smiling and helpful staff, excellent breakfast facilities (the restaurant food was affordable and dishes tasty, esp the idlis) and a restaurant right across your door. This place is an absolute value-for-money. I would easily recommend this place to anybody.
The only things that could certainly improve are - a. no. of channels on the TV, and probably arrange for mosquito repellents, esp. when you’re travelling with kids. All in all, I had a great stay and would certainly come back to this place.
