Sarabhai V/S sarabhai is one of the best comedy serials so far. I’ve seen almost all the episodes and would like to focus on main characters of the show. Hilarious Indravadan : Played by Satish shah. Always refuses to drink milk, tease Rosesh and make fun of him and takes side of monisha.His comic timing is simply superb.
The way he gets irritated by Madhu phoopha is simply awesome! Always likes to have healthy diet ( Chocolates, sev puri, pav bhaaji.
Sophisticated maya : Played by Ratna Pathak shah.I guess noone would have fit in better than her for this role. Maya, wife of Indu would always show off about her "High class" and make fun of monisha for her middle class acts. "Monisha, dabaake khaana is wedding receptionistically middle class :-) " Always tries to imitate sarita and would like to share monisha’s middle class acts with her on phone. Always behind indravadan "Indu doodh piyo" which he hates the most.
Middle class Monisha : Played by Roopali ganguli. Middle class monisha, fan of "Uska pati sirf mera hai :-) ", will always be busy watching TV serials. Beleiver of some babas and getting vibhutis and prasad by paying 11 Rs. Always love to bargain, look for discounts which irritates maya the most. Sahil, the pity husband, often gets irritated with her housekeeping acts.
Sandwiched Sahil : Played by Raghavan. He is plastic surgeon by profession in the serial, will always be in trouble when it comes to choosing between taking side of wife or mom :-)
Always tries to run away from Rosesh’s pathetic poetry.
Moma’s Rosesh: Played by Rajesh kumar. Famous for his typical accent (Momaa :-) ) and is momaa’s boy.Always gets pathetic roles in dramas (like train ka 2nd class dibba :-) ).
Irritates all family members with his poetry skills esp Indravadan.
"Hain Hain" Madhusudan Phupa : Played by Aryan Vaidya.Indravadan’s brother in law, married to Indravadhan’s sister Ilaben. His common dialogue "Hain" and his interpretation of other’s sentences is simply mindblowing :-)
Its not compulsory that you need to keep track of the story as each episode is independent (at times, a story is split into 2 episodes).All in all, a great serial to watch, complete family entertainer. unfortunately, they’ve stopped telecasting new episodes.
