Who does not give a reference of Maya Sarabhai when we have to point out something middle class or make a reference to the high class society. The serial, after the pilot was rather divided into many series as the TRP of the show was on a high.
The story is based on a highly sophisticated family, "The Sarabhai’s." The family consists of mother(Maya), father(Indravadan), the eldest son(Sahil) the daughter(Sonia) and the youngest son(Roshesh). Here in this comes the biggest edition to the family, Manisha or rarther called Monisha Sarabhai.
She is the wife of the eldest son, Sahil. Coming from a middle class punjabi Family, Monisha cannot adapt to the high levels of the society. However the serial is continuous bashing between the mother-in-law and the daughter-in-law about mannerism and english. The serial is a must watch.
