Hellow friends I am again here to share my experiance with you all regarding my visit to sarnath varanasi. Saranath is religious temple associated with the buddhist religion and a good tourist spot in varanasi were you can enjoy a lots of thing along with a religious visit.
The place is situated at one corner of city although you can get acces to it from any part of the city through many means like auto, cabs, and buses. You will get direct transportation from the bus station for this place so according to accessibilty its really easy to visit this place.
The main attraction of this place is the temples of the buddh and the buddha stupa for which you have to buy a ticket though for indian its cheaper alot than foreigner. The place is vast and it perfect spot for picnic for the locals. There is a small zoo also with some birds and alligators inside which is must to watch and you can enjoy a water boat ride which is inbuit there.
While there is no hotels near so far but you can get a hotel for accomodation near paharia aur pandeypur which is located at few kilometers apart.
Though you safety is your own responsibilty
but as the place is crowded everytime so you dont have to worry alot about your safety issues and at every where there you will find buudhist monks offering worship and praying or learning so its not your concern.
According to me its a good place to visit and to learn about the buddha sayings and teachings
