Welcome to the 21st century

At last in chennai we find a cineplex which can be said to be of international standard.

Long ago about twenty years back Satyam complex had made its name for the latest movies which were screeened, especially english, hindi and telugu. I used to tag along with my mother to watch Krishna woo Vijayanirmala in the telugu movie Meena. Then I went along with my friends to watch Amol palekar sing wonderful songs to Zarina Wahab. Of course as a teenager I had gone there to watch Sound of Music, Wow all good movies at the wonderful theatre.

I left town but kept coming here for holidays and every time I see an improvement in this cineplex. It has been upgraded to the latest technology.

Watching a movie is a treat by itself at any of its theatres, it may be Satyam or Studio-5. I enjoyed watching Aamir Khan, Preity Zinta in Dil Chahta Hai, enjoyed the aircondition system in the theatre while watching Hrithik dance away with Kareena in Yaadein.

The enjoyment of watching the visual effects was doubled while watching Matrix Reloaded and the comedy was more enjoyable while watching Jim Carrey in Bruce Almighty.

I believe that best movies have to be seen at the best theatres.

As such the renovations are taking place at the Complex and I am eagerly waiting to see how it ends.

No queues, for getting the tickets, they are open for bookings all through the day which is great, just walk in and book your tickets at any of the counters. Worth the money spent...

Hats off to the Satyam Complex...

You are going great.

Waiting to spend more time watching all the good movies here...
