Sattvam is a pure vegetarian hotel which offers saattvic food. I and my friends visited it for a party. It offers daily lunch and dinner buffets. It doesn’t offer specific orders. Their slots are at 12 to 2PM and 2 to 4 in the afternoon and dinner in the evening. On the Sunday, we visited, there was a huge crowd. We had pre-booked for the slot at 2PM. Inspite of pre-booking, crowd was so overwhelming we had to wait for 15 mins to get entry(we had reached 10 mins before scheduled time)
A melodious Indian music plays somewhere far in the background. This keeps a positive environment. They have enough space to accommodate about 150-200 people at a time on one floor. On top floor they have a banquet hall. Most of the diners were families and friends of elite class.
They presented a buffet of more than 40 items which included soups, starters, pastas, dishes, cakes, pastries, sweets, ice-creams and many items. A staff was allocated to mix varieties of ice-creams based on customers’ desire. This unlimited buffet was a class apart experience. Staffs were well behaved. Food was delicious. Cost is similar to any other similar buffets-INR 760plus tax. For the feel, tasty food and time that can be spend inside, this price is acceptable.
