Very good batsman but with few cracks in his bat. He can be a star on his day but can be a miserable batsman on few days.
His problems with short pitched and legside balls are clearly exposed and any team with efficient captain and good line and length bowlers can tie him up very easily. It is better to talk as less as possible about about his fielding and running between wickets.
He covers his weak points with his powerful stroke play and amazing skills in offside. When he is going on great, his batting can be feast to eyes.
No one can write a review on his without mentioning about his captaincy. He certainly is going to be considered as the most successful captain as he is only one test win away from the current, Azhar. But I can dare to say he is not one of the good captains around. He might be the successful one but not better than any of our earlier captains.
His bad temper on field is clearly visible and his selfishness is candid in his words. He is bored to wait for his turn to bat so wanted to bat in higher order.
Never change the combination when everything going fine So indian team needs him to keep it on winning track. Indian team badly need him to get his form back so that he doesn’t become a burden to team only for captaincy sake.
