It alarms me that Indians cannot see the ’’topi’’ we have been ’’pehanaved’’ by Saurav in the world cup. People here actually felicitated him and heaped rewards upon rewards etc etc. For what ? Loosing a perfectly winnable game on arrogance and bad decision making, followed up with atrocious and irresponsible performance in the field ?!?!?!?
Saurav has long appeared to me to be - sorry guys - ARROGANT, and that is his downfall. What is the point of scoring runs against Kenya et all and failing miserably when a captains knock is MOST called for ? We tend to hero worship these guys too much - its vulgar the amount of money they earn for the quality of performance they put up. Also WHAT is with this pathetic display of ’’ladla’’ behaviour ? ’’Ladla Beta Saurav’’ cant be the brunt of a good joke such as the one Srikanth made ? ’’Saurav should bat 14th man’’ he said - I say ’’AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA’’ funny joke man !!! The difference between Steve Waugh and Ganguli the difference between Ricki Pointing and Ganguli is simply this - they ARE Captain Courageous and he is Captain Outrageous. A Captain should evoke respect - I certainly do not respect a person who cannot share a good natured joke and take responsibility for failure - thats another thing that ticks me off with Ganguli - he always likes to shift blame on someone else - never have I heard him say ’’I screwed up ’’

THis is the only country where they cricketers get paid and rewarded like they do for coming up with perhaps one of the worst performances in recent history - believe me guys we COULD have won the cup - if India put on its professional best - they let us down thats all .
