Don’t ever go with SBI credit card!!!
I took a SBI credit card last year and used it for couple of months. I found that the customer service is very very very bad and decided to cancle the card. I paid all the due amount and called up the customer care (I must have tried not less than 15 times before I could actually talk to the customer care guy) and asked him to cancel the card. He just said YES and kept the phone down.
But the monthly statement did not stop coming home every month. I tried calling up SBI to ask them to stop the statements, but no use. after almost 9 months, I received a call from SBI saying I have to close my account by paying 2000Rs else they would send a arrest warrant!!! when I argued with them that they had never mentioned that I had to pay a cancelation fee of Rs 2000, the answer I received was, we have told you, but u might not have remembered.
They did not mentioned about this anytime....nighter when I signed on the application form, nor when I asked the customer care guy to cancel the card.
This is the worst thing a bank can show with its customers!!!!
PLEASE DO NOT GO FOR SBI CREDIT CARDS!!!!
