SBI Credit Card is not the govt bank SBI but a foreign company working under brand of SBI. The foreign company has other interest in credit rating CIBIL. Hence this card company will ensure they spoil your credit rating to get business for CIBIL, which also is a foreign company .
In my case, SBI Card added some fee to my card after I had called them and requested them to close it. There after they kept adding late fee to that amount. This is how they ensured I was added to CIBIL records.
