I am a SBI Credit Card Holder and this is regarding the Freedom - 5% cash back offer which was given before two months.
Before two months I received a Brochure to my residential address which stated that I would be given 5% Cash back on my retail purchases.
Accordingly I made a purchase for nearly 32000Rs for which I should have received a cash back of 1500Rs (1500 is the maximum amount).
But I did not receive the Cash back. When I called to your customer support at 39020202 it was said that my account was not updated with the offer and I was asked to fax the copy of the brochure that I received. However I did not have the copy and I informed the same to the representative (I never thought they would cheat me).
After two or three repeated calls from me a customer service representative named “Raji” said that it was their mistake that they did not update my account with the offer and she said that the cash back would be reflected in the statement for the month of September.
But the cash back offer is not reflected in this statement also. When I again called the customer care center they said that they cannot help me. And when I said that I will cancel the card, they coolly asked me to proceed. The person who said this was a lady but I do not remember her name. (They dont need us)
I have a mail regarding this to the customer service.. but everything in vain.
Every time you call the customer care you get diffrerent set of answers.. they have an amzing database!!!! Poor Poor Poor.. nothing else to say about SBI!!!
Worst Card one could ever have..
I have many credit cards with me.. but I have never faced any problems like this with any of the card...
My advice to you guys is that when ever you receive an offer through post keep the hard copy safe.. You never know when you will get cheated!!!
