I was approached by sbi card marketing people and told me that i will get 2% cash back on silver and more credit card. And as a salary person, I don’t need to spend rs 25000 per annum to get waiver from annual fee(rs. 250).
Now after issuing the card on my name, they are saying the cash back offer is closed and i will get only reward points only and annual fee waiver is not hold(that means what they told at the time of selling is not true). They also promised that first statement will come with the joining fee only when i swiped the card for the first time. But they are first enough to send the statement with the joining fee without any swipe of my card. Their web site still shows the cash back things in this credit card category
They promised rs 1000 gift voucher to compensate the joining fee. I got rs. 100 for loot store and rs. 100 for atm cash withdrawal(atm cash withdrawal has its own charges!!). Didn’t think that nationalized bank will go to this kind of business.
Guys, avoid this sbi card and go for life time free credit card and without these cash back things. I’m going to cancel this card soon.
