I got a call on 3rd September 2011 from a telecaller, representing the PLAT 5 organsiation- HARI OM (I doubt if it was his real name) . I was informed that my wifes number, which I use was selected among only 100 numbers PAN India for a FREE "ABSOLUTELY FREE" discount card. I only had to verify my credit card details. After his pitch, 2 of his supervisors also informed me on the same call that the card was ABSOLUTELY FREE. As soon as I did the transaction, I got a confirmation call telling me that I had been CHARGED IN EXCESS OF 4900/- (Rs 4964 to be precise).
SO, IN ALL 3 SALES REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ORGANISATION MIS SOLD THE CARD TO ME BY SAYING IT WAS FREE...MADE ME DO THE ONLINE TRANSACTION THROUGH MY CREDIT CARD AND LATER TOLD ME I HAD BEEN CHARGED 4964!!
I tried patielntly explaining to the confirmatino called that I had been duped but he did not even liste.
Now, after I have sent 2 mails to the organisation, I still have to get a call from a human being who understands normal logical language, let alone English and who is not trying to tell me that I was a fool as I did the transaction. On abusing this organisations employees they calmly tell you that it is your fault (you being the consumer) and should have known the meaning of transaction when you confirmed your credit card details!! I keep getting calls and all I get is some employee explaining to me how they cant help me and how I was duped.
I HAVE RECEIVED NO REPLY MAILS FROM THE UNSCRUPULOUS ORGANISATION. THEIR WEBSITE PROUDLY PROCLAIMS THEIR GRIEVANCE COLUMN AND CONTACT ME ID AND NUMBERS- BUT YOU WILL NEVER EVER GET A REPLY AS THEIR EXISTENCE IS BASED ON MIS SELLING AND FOOLING THE CONSUMERS!
I have been charged and they are not ready to return my money. Also, every sales representative of this UNETHICAL ORGANISATION claims that all calls are recorded. Why cant they simply listen to the recorded conversation of their employees when they mis-sold the card to me and return my money? Why are they repeatedly calling their UNWANTED CLIENT WHOM THEY HAVE SUCCESSFULLY FOOLED?
I think plat5.com is the best place to work in the world. The sales representative calls clients and mis sells their product. The confirmation caller calls and congratulates the client and tells him that there is a charge. The client keeps shouting but the caller keeps the phone down saying thanks! Then after there is a complaint, which am assuimng happens a lot, as the product is mis sold, the management does nothing and never replies. The only calls you get are by brilliant reps who are not willing to listen to you and just repeat the pitch which is a holy writ! And then make you believe that you should have known the meaning of "transaction" before confirming your credit card for the free product. SO IT IS THE CUSTOMERS FAULT AS HE BELIVED THEIR COLLEAGUE. What a job! What a job role!
