My title basically describes my feelings about the movie Scary Movie 2. I mean a lot of comedic movies are within the range of 1.5 to 2 hours, yet Scary Movie is a movie that you just want for it to wrap things up and bring up the credits. The first one was okay but the second one really messed it up and I would imagine messed up the careers of those in the movie.
The Plot
At first its hard to distinguish or realize where this movie is going. Cheap wisecracks that lead to nothing and after about half way we learn where some form of plot occurs. A professor and a student are testing out the sleep patterns of a group of students who will be given an A at the completion of the one week course.
Now its very weird because we never see any data being recorded or any instance where they are actually monitoring the sleep patterns. The movie then turns the house into something haunted and everyone experiences cheesy replicas of scenes from other movies.
Is it Funny?
There were only about 2 scenes in the movie that made me laugh out loud.
One scene involved a guy in a wheelchair getting very aroused by the good looking girl in the movie. She then wants to go down on him and he replies with a ’’Hey! Hey! I Don’t Need You’’ .... he then goes down on himself, hahahaha!
Another scene involves a black guy going to bed, takes his gold tooth out of his mouth into a little bag which says Tooth Fairy and says before he goes to sleep ....’’Ima rob that bi*ch!’’ LOLLLL!!!
The Acting
The acting is very poor from all characters. They all sound like yutzes and each character doesn’t pull an awesome performance in this one.
The roles of some famous people in the movie were also career jumpers, but they failed miserably.
Overall Thoughts ...
I would only recommend this movie to people if they want to watch 2 scenes. I swear to you, the comedy in this movie is so unfunny! The acting is trash and the movie will leave you puzzled! Take it from me and don’t rent this one ..... a REAL SNOOZER!!
