Hit as well as Miss.

Scion of Ikshvaku is one of those book which being a critical hit and bestseller still leaves a hole somewhere. The experience will be completely different based on your experience but without wasting time lets jump into the review.

The story opens up in Ayodhya where Ram is born, he is the first son of Dashrat  but despite getting the lve all he gets is the bitter and stale side of dashrat who thinks that Ram is the reason for his defeat at the hand of the Lankan general Raavan.Though he later realises his fault and admits that it is was none of Ram’s fault. Then the plot goes all out Ramayana but with some of Amish’s twist to it.The plot itself does’nt have much to talk about it.

Now the hole I said earlier is that some or many readers wont like this book because of the twist it gives to Ramayan and beleive me some of  that twists are downright rubbish and boring but still I expect Amish deliver is the book #2 because he did so in the shiva triology.

The was same there as here a boring first book with some rubbish twist but an awesome once in a lifetime #2 book I have high expextation with the series so I think you should give this book a shot.+
