I think everyone knows how to play Scrabble as it has been around for many, many years.
I find it challenging to play and to develop word skills.
It is one of the few board games that I own and will play from time to time. I am more into computer games now and there are many word games on line but when you are having company it can be a fun thing to sit and play some board games together.
I have bought three of this game over the years as after awhile the board gets pretty worn but I have never had the letters wear off the tiles so I would say they are made to last a lifetime.
They have a junior version for kids which can be great in teaching them to spell and learn new words.
There is also one called upwords which is the same thing only more tiles and you can put them over others to form even more words.
Always keep a dictionary handy when playing in case some thinks what you have put down is not a real word.
For a quiet evening with the family or for a get together with two couples this can be a fun time. If you haven’t played lately give it a try.
