I am a longtime fan of Seagate and their excellent line of both internal and external hard disks. Over the years the price of hard disks have dropped significantly and since my computer was out of space even with three internal hard disks, I thought it was time to upgrade with an external hard disk. I chose the Seagate backup plus because of my positive experiences with Seagate products and for the money, I am quite happy with this product. Of course you only get around 1, 8 TB of space and not the whole 2 Tb’s as advertised but that is how hard disks work. I do not know how to measure the speed of a hard disk while copying data but the copying process for me was quite fast. Better than what I’m used to but I’m sure you can find the technical details in the official Seagate website. The hard disk itself is stylish looking and feels very sleek to the touch. It can be formatted in both Fat32 cand Ntfs formats so it would work well with a PlayStation 4 as well I think. Because of it’s low price and superb performance I highly recommend this product if you’re looking to increase your data storage space.
