Talking abt it performance on usb 3.0it has a writing speed of 120 mbps and the reading speed is about 130 mbps. This is one of the fast drive I used so far. When u use it on usb 2.0 it speed drops to abt 30 mbps that is fast for usb 2.0.at the end I will say buy it if u want a good drive for gaming and media player experience mind it its super fastt.
